A colour of your own!

Hello boys and girl from K4! Hello families! How are you today?

As you know, this week we are celebrating art and we have been talking about the different possible ways to 'make art'.... ( Como ya saben esta semana celebramos el arte y estuvimos hablando de las distintas formas de "hacer arte")

And we talked about colours, so... (y hablamos de los colores, así que...)

We want to share this story about an animal who does not find his own colour ... let's hear it: (queremos compartirles esta historia de un animal que no encontraba su propio color... )

Chamaleons are animals that disguise themselves with their surroundings... (Los Camaleones son animales que toman el color de sus alrededores) 

And since we found a lot of colours on this story let's try a new way to make art.. 

(Ahora que conocemos mas los colores, practiquemos una nueva forma de "hacer arte")

All you'll need is : 

(Todo lo que van a necesitar es..)

- Dish Soap (Detergente)

-A plastic straw (Un sorbete de plástico)

- Tempera paint (Temperas)

- A sheet of paper (una hoja de papel)

- A plastic cup to mix everything (un pequeño vaso o recipiente para hacer la mezcla).

And this is how it works:

1. Pick a colour, and mix it with water and dish soap  (Elegí un color y mezclalo con agua y un poco de detergente)

2. Then blow with the straw to create bubbles  (Ahora sopla con tu sorbete para crear las burbujas)

3. Once the bubbles are over the border of the plastic cup put your paper on top.  (Una vez que las burbujas pasen el borde del recipiente pone tu papel sobre las burbujas)

4. The bubbles will pop and you'll have a beautiful pattern like this: (Entonces las burbujas explotarán y dejarán un dibujo asi..)

5. You can use more than one colour on the same paper.... (Pueden probar usando varios colores en un mismo papel)
